DeLeon sang lead vocals for “the Angelic Supremes,” in the early 1980’s and background vocals for “Poppa Joe & the Harmonizers” in 2000. Both groups where produced by gospel music producer Derek Allen; aka (DOA). Mr. Allen has worked with multiple gospel and R & B artists. He produced Smokie Norful’s first album “I need you now,” and co-produced Wayman Tisdale’s “The funk record.” Mr. Allen also played bass guitar for Janet Jackson and Lionel Richie.
